Well, through our experiences, we have learned that the three most important factors to be kept in mind, while starting and maintaining a blog, are the 3 Cs. Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through all of the three, one by one.
What are the 3 Cs?
The 3 Cs stand for Content, Commitment, and Consistency. While it may seem obvious to some, the 3 Cs are actually difficult to achieve as time passes and priorities (possibly) change.
After you are done with choosing the right blogging platform, domain name and niche for your blog, it’s time to actually begin writing.
So let’s get started with the first of the three 3 Cs: Content and why it matters towards your journey of being successful at blogging.
Content (and why it matters)
This probably may not come as a surprise but it’s been proven time and time again that no matter how fancy you get with your marketing and social strategies, what will make your readers stay with you will undoubtedly be your content.
Quality content helps your audience to resonate with you and your beliefs. It is the single most thing that makes your readers want to stay with you for the long run. Good content gives you a sense of validity and authority. Your audience trusts and builds a bond with you and your blog.
If you’re in charge of a business blog, then you have all the more reason to put emphasis on content. Studies have shown that consumers choose brands that they identify with and feel connected to. So it’s no wonder that content marketing for your product will serve as a huge factor in your brand’s success.

It is extremely important to be committed to your blog and your passion for content. I’m not telling you to forget all of your other interests or hobbies, and take up blogging as your holy grail, but you have to respect the promise that you had made to yourself.
How do I do that?
For a blog to be successful, you have to be completely devoted to it. Make sure to continuously update and improve your blog whenever you can. Try to maintain a periodic timeline for blog updates, even if it is one post every two weeks or one post a month. But make sure that whatever you write has your whole heart and soul poured into it. Not only does it make it easier for the audience to connect with you but it also gives you a way to put your writing skills to good use.
Commit yourself to putting out great content. Don’t be afraid to really venture out and explore your topic of your next post. Scavenge the internet, read articles, visit a library, catch up on good old books to get deep into how things work and why things are the way they are.
An incredible benefit to actually completely grasping a subject from top to bottom is that it adds to the list of topics you have extensive knowledge on. This is turn makes conversations (both online and offline) that much more fun and interesting.

Consistency (with your Content and Commitment)
To become truly successful at blogging, you have to be consistent with yourself and your blogging efforts. It is difficult (well, almost close to impossible) to be an overnight phenomenon. Even those that have reached the so-called fame face the very real possibility of just being a “one blog-post wonder”.
Consistency means being consistent in your efforts. Do you have the same spark you did when you started out? Do you still have the passion for content? Does writing for your audience still excite you? Good, that means you’re on the right path.
How can I be consistent?
Assign a timeline for blog updates. Try to be regular with your posts being published. The good thing is that there is no “right” way to do this. You are free to be flexible in your methods. You can post several times a day(like The Blonde Salad), or twice every week, or once every two weeks (like Wait But Why) if that floats your boat. Publishing posts regularly increase the chances of your content getting shared. This leads to an increase in readership.

In the modern times, social media not only makes content sharing and social outreach easier but it also helps in establishing your image as a brand.
